Feb. 3rd social meeting

Dear Ataxia friends,

Hope all of you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! We miss seeing you all and getting together.. We are hoping to see everyone at any/all social get togethers and monthly meetings in alternating months.

So you guys can mark it on your calendars and plan attending, I send out to everyone a monthly get together and social event calendar..

For starters, Let's get together beginning in February for a social gathering and get out of the house and enjoy some dinner or just dessert!

WHEN: Monday February 3rd 2020 

WHERE: Outback Steakhouses in Rockside rd.

TIME:  6:00pm

(Anyone want to spit a blooming onion?)

This will get us started and after this I hope others will suggest a  place theyd like to meet. Musuems. Arcade. Movies Nights etc...

I hope to see you there.. let me know if you are attending so I can plan accordingly. Last minute people are always welcome to come!

I think we could all use a friendly face and to share stories and ideas that make living with this thing called Ataxia easier

Dear Ataxia friends and family..

We came together in September for our Annual Northeast Ohio Walk and Roll to cure Ataxia. It was a great time and great raffle prizes ..we even raffled off a Adult Tricycle!!

Well thanks to your support the Donations are up to$9,221.32 right now!!

Just wanted to thank everyone again for raising money for such a good cause that has affected so many people..

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!

Hope to see you soon after the weather gets better and get together for some dinner out!!!

PLIDCO given Certificate of Appreciation for NEO Walk n' Roll to Cure Ataxia support

Carmen Pieragastini, founder of the National Ataxia Foundation Northeast Ohio area support group, and his wife Ginger visited PLIDCO - the Pipeline Development Company - in Westlake Ohio recently to thank them for their years of supporting the NEO Walk n' Roll to Cure Ataxia.

PLIDCO - https://www.plidco.com/ - has supported the NEO Walk n' Roll to Cure Ataxia from the beginning of the event in 2016. Carm and Ginger presented PLIDCO Owner and CEO Ed Smith and PLIDCO President Kim Smith with a certificate of appreciation for supporting the NEO Walk n' Roll to Cure Ataxia and brought a cake to celebrate with all the PLIDCO employees.

TOMORROW at 10 am, Join us for a great day at the 2019 NEO Walk n' Roll to Cure Ataxia

Join us for a great day at the 2019 Northeast Ohio Walk n' Roll to Cure Ataxia TOMORROW Sunday Sept. 22 at the Lakewood Women's Pavilion in Lakewood Park.

There will be pizza, refreshments, fun and awareness building with the National Ataxia Foundation Northeast Ohio support group tomorrow. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the Walk n' Roll events will start at 11 a.m. , with music, auctions, raffles and a stroll around the beautiful Lakewood Park to raise awareness. The event will wrap up around 1:30 p.m..
The Northeast Ohio Ataxia community will have a great time socializing, supporting, making new friends, discovering new resources and raising money for a cure.

The Turn donates to the 2019 NEO Walk n' Roll to Cure Ataxia

The 2019 NEO Walk n' Roll to Cure Ataxia is SUNDAY, it will be a great day of fun and fundraising. There will be a 50/50 cash event and multiple auctions and fundraising raffles to help us raise money for the National Ataxia Foundation to help provide services for people with Ataxia and help find a cure for Ataxia.
Items that will be auctioned or raffled off to help raise funds to find a cure include items from The Turn, a golf program at the North Olmsted Golf Club.
